The Visitors

I went to the Institute of Contemporary Art in Boston because it happened to be free on the day I was in town. I expected to spend an hour or two perusing the galleries before moving on to my next stop. Instead, I found myself floored by this multimedia installation by Ragnar Kjartansson. Literally floored, as I ended up sitting on the floor of the exhibit for nearly an hour. I nearly saw it for a second time at the Broad, but unfortunately ran out of time. Luckily, I happened to stumble upon it once more at the Phoenix Museum of Art last year.
