Resume

I have worked in cultural and tourist attractions for over 20 years. My journey through the cultural and tourism sectors has included stints as the director of a small historic site, a Cast Member at Walt Disney World, and serving in a variety of leadership roles at science museums, a children's museum, a corporate museum, and an aquarium. 


I create innovative and effective campaigns and programs that drive audience behavior through exceptional interactive, social, digital, print, and experience-based content. As a results-driven leader with an enthusiasm for mission-based work, I work across departments and organizations to craft engaging narratives and program strategies to support the organizational vision, values, and goals.

In my work I strive for improvement in diversity, equity, accessibility, inclusion, transparency, and environmental initiatives. I pride myself on forging loyal, diverse, collaborative teams that work to each other’s strengths to accomplish goals. My passion is turning mission statements into action through creative, tangible experiences that put your audience at the center of your brand and inspire them to pursue a lifelong interest in your mission.

Currently, I am on the opening team at the brand-new Edelman Fossil Park and Museum of Rowan University and serve as a Vice President of the Visitor Experience Group. ​Outside of the museum world, I live Delco with my wife and son and enjoy camping, hiking, photography, traveling, live music and theater, rooting for the underdog, karaoke, playing guitar, word games, and I'm probably the biggest Muppet fan you'll ever meet.

  • American Alliance for Museums - Mistake of the Year 2018 - This award is voted on each year during a session in which folks are encouraged to own up to mistakes. My story won and taking home the trophy ended up fixing the mistake that won it! 

  • Walt Disney Company - Great Service Fanatic - Awarded twice for exceeding guest service standards

  • Wells Fargo - 2016 Brand Engagement Top Performer & 2020 Marketing Champion - Awarded for a 78% increase in museum attendance in 2016 and for preparing and executing the department's COVID-19 response in 2020
